ViewSonic release a portable media player with e-reader hybrid called ViewSonic MB-P702. It looks liek tablet pc with full video playback, dual boot 7-inch screen display at 800×480 pixels but lack of web browser and Google maps.
This ViewSonic MB-P702 come with 256 pre-loaded games, up to 1080 pixel resolution video playback, HDMI input can be streamed to auxiliary display and support video file format like RM, RMVB, WMV, MKV, VOB and AVI, among others, while sound files can be encoded in WMA, MP3, FLAC and APE.
For e-book reader, ViewSonic MB-P702 support files like EPUB, TXT, HTML, PDB, PDF and UMD. The price is less than ViewPad 7 but the exactly price is not available yet.
