Along with the a33 and a55 cameras, Sony also introduced Alpha SLR-A560 featuring Multi-frame Noise Reduction, Sweep Panorama™ mode, 3D Sweep Panorama and Full HD 1920×1080 60i video capture. This 14.2 megapixel α560 camera also offers Quick AF Live View, 7fps continuous shooting and Auto HDR. The α560 camera body and 18-55mm kit lens will cost about $750 and will be available in October. With the body only, it will cost about $650. Other key features: Sony Exmor ™APS HD CMOS sensor and BIONZ ® image processor.

Panasonic has announced Panasonic LUMIX FX700 digital camera with 24mm ultra wide-angle lens and 5x optical zoom. It has advanced functions in a slim, stylish body rather than Lumix FS7.

Panasonic announced the LUMIX DMC-LX5 compact camera. With an ultra-bright F2.0 ultra-wide-angle 24mm LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens, the LUMIX LX5 minimizes image distortion and offers large viewing space. Highlights: 3.8x(90mm) optical zoom, 10.1-megapixel CCD, Venus Engine FHD image processor, able to record HD videos in AVCHD Lite, 3.0-inch large 460,000-dot high resolution Intelligent LCD, and is able to shoot 400 photos (CIPA) per a single charge.
Expected to be available in late-August 2010 for $500, the LUMIX DMC-LX also comes with wide-variety of accessories, including a Live View Finder (DMW-LVF1), External Optical View Finder (DMW-VF1), Wide Conversion Lens (DMW-LWA52), Conversion Lens Adaptor (DMW-LA6), MC Protector (DMW-MC52), ND Filter (DMW-LND52), PL Filter: DMW-LPL52, External Flashes, Leather Case (DMW-CLX5) and a Battery Pack (DMW-BCJ13).
