HP Pavilion dm1a 11.6-inch AMD Nile Notebook Specifications and Reviews
HP recently launched its new AMD Nile platform based Pavilion series notebook - HP Pavilion dm1a. The new HP Pavilion dm1a AMD notebook sports an 11.6-inch LCD display with 1366×768 pixels of resolution. The HP dm1a notebook measures about 290×205x20.5-32 mm and weights just 1.5kg( including battery).
While coming to the specifications of the Pavilion dm1a notebook, it comes powered by a 1.7GHz AMD Athlon II Neo K125 processor and is also boosted with 2GB to 5GB of RAM, 128GB SSD and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphics. Other HP Pavilion dm1a notebook features include Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, 5-in-1 Card Reader, inbuilt web camera, D-Sub, HDMI output and three USB ports. It comes with a 6 cell battery which offers up to 6.5 hours of use.

HP Envy 14 and Envy 17 Notebook – Specifications, Features, Prices
HP comes with its new Envy Series Notebook models - HP Envy 14 and HP Envy 17. These notebooks are the successors of the previous Envy 13 and Envy 15 notebooks. The new Envy 14 and Envy 17 notebook comes powered with Intel Core series processors and is equipped with ATI graphics.
The HP Envy 14 comes with a 14.5-inch HD display while the Envy 17 Notebook comes with 17-inch HD display. Both the HP Envy 14 and Envy 17 notebooks comes powered with either Intel Core i3 or Intel Core i5 Processors and ATI Radeon HD5830 dedicated graphics. Other features of the Envy Notebook models include a slot-loading optical drive, backlit keyboard, TrueVision HD webcam, WiFi and a mini DisplayPort.
The HP Envy 14 notebook offers optional WWAN/3G connectivity and provides up to 6 hours of battery life. On the other hand, 17-inch HP Envy 17 notebook gets up to 2TB of storage and supports the ATI Eyefinity technology for multiple external display. As per the announcement, HP will release the Envy 14 and Envy 17 notebooks in June 27 and May 19 respectively.
The price of the HP Envy 14 notebook is around 9.99 while the Envy 17 is priced at 99.99.
